Camp Cypress Dog Retreat is not like any other boarding kennel. Set on 60 acres with wide-open spaces and miles of trails, Camp Cypress is a dog’s paradise and was designed specifically with your dog’s comfort in mind! Located a short distance from Shreveport/Bossier, we offer a stress free, peaceful country setting where your dog will feel safe and happy, returning to you completely relaxed, just like you feel after you come home from a spa retreat. Camp Cypress Dog Retreat owners Jolie and Jim Banks have over 15 years of experience working with and caring for numerous dogs. Many former rescues became a part of their family. Each precious canine they fostered transitioned into a forever home. They have taken all of their experience, joy, and passion for dogs into creating a canine retreat of the highest standards!

Spiralout_keepgoing Camp Cypress is AMAZING. I was anxious leaving my boy behind for 6 days and I must have texted a hundred times only to be constantly reassured Charlie was just fine. He was treated so well and he had a blast, made so many friends. CCDR was always quick to respond to any questions and concerns I had and I love that they sent daily picture updates. I’d recommend CCDR a hundred times over.

We have been boarding our senior greyhound with them since we moved to the area over a year ago. The communication is top notch. We get daily photo updates of our girl. I never have to worry how she is, or call and check on her. They check in with us, which gives us peace of mind. I really like their health and safety standards for all boarders. The cost is very affordable too. They also accommodate our girl’s personality and personal space needs. The staff has been so amazing and friendly. We also look forward to the Christmas photos they take while boarding over Christmas.

My sensitive, delicate dog requires extra attention; Jolie even took him to our vet during his last stay to be sure his digestive system was ok. My other high energy very difficult wild child dog has so much fun playing ball with everyone that I’m not sure she wants to come home. They really do care for and love each dog like it is their own fur baby! I know when I am gone I have left my dogs in good hands!

Ava Lewis I’m very late to posting a review since my boyfriend and I boarded our dog in August but I LOVEEEEEEE this place!!!! I seriously recommend it to anyone I know or don’t know. Great staff and great owner. The owner is personable and is good at remembering the names of the dogs. Our dog is very energetic and got to play with other energetic dogs, which I was so happy to see. I was worried that my dog would not fit in because she can be a bit much with her energy but it was great!! Pictures are sent everyday to you. Our family dog is boarded here too. He’s a lot less energetic and fits right in too! They take such great care of the pets. When life calms down, I want to start bringing my dog just to come play for the day. That’s how much I seriously LOVE this place! Overall, TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! They will love it just as much as you!

It is agreat family owned business where they actually love the dogs instead it being just some sort of a warehouse that just holds your pet. K A vacation for my dog! Very impressed with the retreat's facility. The out door area is huge and there is a covered area as well. Very clean and each dog has their own "room". The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My dog was very well taken care of and had fun playing. I was texted pics daily and both my dog and I left happy. Rates are very reasonable as well and I am more comfortable leaving my dog here then at a normal kennel.
