Camp Cypress Dog Retreat is not like any other boarding kennel. Set on 60 acres with wide-open spaces and miles of trails, Camp Cypress is a dog’s paradise and was designed specifically with your dog’s comfort in mind!
Located a short 30 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier, we offer a stress free, peaceful country setting where your dog will feel safe and happy, returning to you completely relaxed, just like you feel after you come home from a spa retreat.
Camp Cypress Dog Retreat owners Jolie and Jim Banks have over 15 years of experience working with and caring for numerous dogs. Many former rescues became a part of their family. Each precious canine they fostered transitioned into a forever home. They have taken all of their experience, joy, and passion for dogs into creating a canine retreat of the highest standards!
Each “camper” that stays at Camp Cypress:
- Has a choice to stay in a safe and comfortable space all of their own or go outside to romp and play, enjoying plenty of fresh air!
- Will be taken on walks on the miles of trails available right on the property.
- Has access to fresh water at all time and is fed according to your instructions and their dietary needs.
- Will enjoy a nightly tuck-in service and a small bedtime snack.
The Camp Cypress staff is well trained and experienced – ready to personally take care of your precious pet and able to respond to their every need.
Staff are onsite 24/7, so that your family member is never left alone.
We also have strong relationships with local area veterinarians who are ready to handle any emergency should it arise.
